Lewandowski nets 5 goals in 9 minutes!!

Lewandowski

Bayern Munchen were trailing 1-0 yesterday in a hot Bundesliga match against Wolfsburg at half-time. Then Pep Guardiola decided to sub in the Polish striker, who obviously did the damage, with 5 whooping goals in 9 minutes!!

Lewandowski's shocking outburst featured goals in the 51st, 52nd, 55th, 57th and 60th minutes. To make everything even more cosmic, he scored his fifth and final goal of the match nine minutes nearly to the second after he'd netted his first, leaving coach Pep Guardiola looking around in complete disbelief with his hands on his head.

The win lifted Bayern to a maximum 18 points, three ahead of second-placed Borussia Dortmund, who are in action at Hoffenheim on Wednesday. Wolfsburg, who had not conceded a goal in their last four matches in all competitions, are third on 11 points.

I am very pleased... this was crazy! Five goals – that's an incredible evening! - Robert Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski has therefore become the first ever player to ever come from the bench to score the fastest hat-trick in the Bundesliga. I tip him to be in the 2015 FIFPro World XI though, won't you?
