Aguero arrived at the Etihad Stadium in July 2011 from Atletico Madrid, having plundered 101 goals in 234 games for the La Liga club.

Aguero made his Premier League debut on August 15, 2011 as a second-half substitute for Nigel de Jong. Alan Shearer is the only player to have reached the 100-goal mark in the Premier League in less games than Aguero, having achieved the feat in just 124 matches in the 1990s.
Former Arsenal striker Henry is third in the list, having scored his first 100 goals in 160 games.
