Your favorite shoe is getting an update - its first in nearly a century. But don't worry, it's a good one.
The idea behind the classic Chuck Taylor All-Star redesign is comfort. So the Chuck II won't look that different from its predecessor, it will just be even more of a treat for your hip little feet.
The new Chucks feature a new Lunarlon sock liner, which is basically a lightweight bouncy arch cushion found in many Nike shoe models. The new kick replaces the original Chuck's cotton lining and exterior with a moisture-wicking micro-suede liner on the inside and high-grade Tencel canvas on the outside.
A foam-padded collar and pappded, non-slip tongue are also on the list of the shoe's premium comfort upgrades.
As for the aesthetics, the shoe looks quite simliar to its forebear, the only differences being an embroided logo on the inner heel and debossed, painted eyelets, rather than the classic, shiny silver ones. That's it.
