'Family woman' Adele will snub £80m world tour to stay home with young son.

Adele is set to turn down an £80 million pay day to tour her new album, because she doesn’t want to travel with her young son, writes Simon Boyle in the Sunday People.
The Someone Like You singer has a string of offers from some of the biggest concert organisers all vying to stage her first comeback gigs next year.
But she is yet to agree to any gigs at all in 2016 - and has hinted she isn’t prepared to sign up to travel thousands of miles with a young family.

America’s magazine Billboard announced this week that her third album will be released in November, after almost 18 months of speculation and waiting among fans.
But industry insiders now say a major world tour looks “unlikely”, despite the huge offers explaining.
One source said: “The album may be coming out, but at this moment in time there are absolutely no concrete plans for a tour.
“In fact people at the label admit they are clueless whether Adele will tour at all.
"Firstly it’s understood she is not keen to travel around the world with her son as she adores her quiet family life away from fame and fortune.
“Also ever since her throat surgery there has been discussions about how much strain she would have to put her vocal chords under during a lengthy tour.
Specialists have warned that repeated straining of vocal chords could lead to a relapse of her vocal chord breakage.
“That is of course a huge concern for everyone within the Adele camp. Under no circumstances do the label want to set Adele back by impacting her voice.”
Promoters believe that demand for Adele could be so high that they would be able to charge more than £100 a ticket and still sell out huge arenas around the world - with the top tickets likely to be worth far more than that.

Our source added: “This is the tour that every promoter wants to bag - but at the moment nobody has had any success, despite offers of tens of millions of pounds. It’s one of those occasions where it isn’t about the money.”
The biggest casinos in Las Vegas, which have hosted the likes of Elton John and Celine Dion, are understood to want to secure her for a run.
Caesars Palace and MGM Grand have tabled deals of £500,000 a night – while the Venetian is offering £750,000.
